  1. Call your local family doctor or general practitioner

  2. Call your local mental health team or psychiatrist 

  3. Call or text the Samaritans, a local crisis help line or suicide prevention line (look online or in your phone directory)

  4. Local support groups such as SADAG in South Africa: www.sadag.org

    • SMS 31393 or 32312 and a counsellor will call you back - available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
